My wife and I have shopped in Stop & Shop for decades. Yesterday we decided that we would try your delivery service for the first time.
We had no problem making our order.
But we did have a major problem with the delivery.
After waiting over 3 hours from our delivery time, I ended up having to go to the store and pick it up, as none of their usual drivers even picked it up yet.
This to me is horribly poor service and you should be ashamed of what happened. This creates a terrible reputation for this store, as I have read many other like complaints on local social media.
In my opinion you need to either remove delivery service from the Enfield, CT store's website, or find a better more reliable service that would provide steady timely deliveries.

I purchased a package of pulled pork from stop and shop, labeled as chef prep foods. The meat was loaded with bones, and I didn't know until biting into it.
There were several black small bones in the meat and I had to dispose of it. I will never ever shop here again.

Willimantic location used to be dirty dirty dirty, with nasty grubby floors and awful smells. They fixed the floor, but the smell is still there and they dont take care of their merchandise.
Damaged packaging and worst of all, groceries that straight up have dirt and marks on them. I couldnt find a single box of Diet Coke with lime that was clean.

Stop and shop eastchester NY. This is not my first horrible encounter with this woman, others have also told me their experiences.
Monday 2/2 approximately 3;30pm. This place is run by *** Each staff is worse and less helpful than the next. The woman who thinks she is a manager is totally useless, rude and out of line. They refused to give me my change (the self checkout was out of bills apparently) and made me go to three cashiers and customers and still refused.
The older woman with a cane needs to be retired, go to a nursing home or do something with herself it is no ones fault but her own that she is stuck working there at her age.
Im in charge and you are not getting it. Needs a complete overhaul and weeks of training in procedures and customer service.

The things I noticed about Stop & Shop is that they no longer employ people that care about their customers I was going to the store in West Caldwell for many years no longer will I do that after today I noticed the big change in the store and the company for how they handle their customers their prices are not anything to brag about they are overpriced on everything here's what I discovered I was in West Caldwell store and went to buy many different items when I went to the self-checkout because they only always have two registers open even at their peak hours it's like they don't care about convenient shopping a I was forced to go to the self-checkout store number 2807 West Caldwell at the self checkout I was having problems the machine wouldn't proceed and said help is on the way wow what help instead of actually fixing the problem she took the item that I already paid for and rang it up again so instead of being paying for two of those items I ended up paying for three when I got to the front door I just looked at the items and realized what she had done and decided I no longer will go there their prices are nothing to brag about and I have a brand new ShopRite opening up right across the street I will pin this receipt up against my mirror to remind me not to go back there again and to force myself over the ShopRite it seems to me that ShopRite needs new management and they need to straighten out their employees as to who the customers are and how they should be treated this woman was a black woman a big heavy black woman didn't give a damn that she rang me up an item I already paid for enough is enough

Accused of stealing 2 times when i had paid and had receipt

At Stop & Shop in North Andover, I was accused of not paying twice, even though I had paid and had receipts. Yesterday (Dec 18th 2025) was the second time.
The bagger was yelling that I had not paid from across the parking lot. I had forgotten to pick up the receipt. The manager, Rolando Mendez, was obnoxious and showed no remorse in either case. I have nover been humuliated like this.
When I tried to take a photo, he grabbed my phone and would not return it. What is company policy, are they being racist. He did not apologize.
All he had to say is you are set. He should be given a broom, not a manager's role.

Late delivery. When driver arrived he sat in van listing to something on phone. Had to walk up to van.
The shake and bake for chicken box was wet and it leaked all over while unpacking.

I paid over 100.00 dollars for my order and there treating me like I'm the one who made the mistake delivering it to the wrong address. They just about said that I'm in the wrong.

Cherry tomatoes are rotting in the bottom of plastic containers on shelves.
I shop at Market Basket now.

Bad Customer Service

I went to the Fort Salonga store. I waited online, the cashier had mask below her nose and gloves on.
She looked like she jus woke up. I proceeded on the line, but when I coughed this cashier told me get off the line. I looked at her in disbelief. There was no manager around.
The cashier was very nasty and rude. I took my items and went to another line.
My advice is you need better cashier to be more professional and cleaner. Also, make sure they know the CDC rules of wearing mask.
