Hello, I've bought today, April 1, a 4 pack of Ensure Max Protein that were put on the shelves next to the hair products, and as I was getting one to drink, I checked the date on it; it had expired March 1, 2025.
Preferred solution: Full refund
I just visited the Stop and Shop location in 5 towns, Queens NY and ommmmgggg the worst of the worst customer service ever!!!!!
After the rude cashier was finished scanning and a receipt was printed, she called a manager (Spanish woman with black and silver nails) over who looked at my receipt. After rolling her eyes, and not giving me any explanation, she told me to go to customer service for a refund.
I had no idea what was happening but I proceeded to customer service.
The woman, or I should say thug, behind the counter was named Lynn.
She didn't greet me or ask why I was there or not even how she could assist me.
She was so rough and asked me what I wanted.
I told her nicely that I was sent here for a refund as per the manager.
She looked super angry and just the way she spoke to me was so horrible that she does not need to be in customer service.
She sounded like a brute and a bully as she was talking to me.
The only time she came to her senses was when I asked if I could have the sheet to take the survey.
She promptly ripped the bottom part of my receipt off so I didn't have the PIN number to take the survey and she didn't give me back the receipt at all.
I work in retail for 30 years and I have never spoken to a customer like that in my life.
My 72 year old mother was there and she was also shocked at the way Lynn spoke to me and said that we should not come back to the store again. (It was actually our first time at this location).Lynn
She does not need to be in customer service at all or she requires some serious training.
Please do better for your customers.

Went to Stop & Shop in North Kingstown was going to purchase some deli meat until the man that was providing service took the Roast Beef off the slicing machine put the deli meat I ask for on the slicing machine. The meat I ordered wasn't beef.
The machine had pieces of roast beef all over the holder and blade blood was dripping off the holding tray. He didn't even attempt to wipe the machine down he just plopped the other meat down and stated slicing. I asked him to please clean the machine because of cross contamination and his response was oh! we clean the machines every 4 hours.
He proceeded to give the machine a very quick wipe blood still all over the holding tray and blade started to cut the meat again and at that point I told him I changed my mind I do not want any meat. Management at Stop & Shop in north Kingstown on Rte 102 really needs to watch or retrain there deli department before someone gets really sick.

Stop and Shop in Lexington has a racist man named Bob working in the sea food department.
He tried to sell my daughter a dead lobster . My daughter said she did not want that one because it was not moving.
Racist Bob yelled at my daughter stating he can give her anyone he wants , that she has no choice.
My daughter said I want another and choose it. Racist Bob then took that one and placed a heavy bag on top over weighing 3 extra pounds.
My daughter got the supervisor and she weighs the lobster and it was less.
A white customer told my daughter what the man did was wrong.
I will go in the store and record this racist man and put it on social media.
He is a public disgrace to the human race

I am so sick of this. I grabbed a bottle of Schweppes ginger ale priced at 4 for $7.00.
When I got home I reviewed my receipt. I was charged $3.39. I would never pay that for a lousy bottle of soda. I went online and price was 4/$7.00- but MUST buy FOUR. Ah! OK, you got me again!
Busy and older shopppers dont have the time or the EYESIGHT to read the fine print! And why in the name of God do I need 4 bottles of ginger ale?
Please stop both of these lousy practices, or Ill just start going to a slightly higher priced market and not have to deal with either of these *** practices to screw the consumer.

No matter what I do I'm disappointed.

I shop at the location at 70-20 Rockaway Beach Boulevard, Arverne, NY 11692, (718) 318-****. I go there every Saturday morning, within an hour of the store opening.
I order the same item from the deli each week. Whoever takes my order seems not to understand what I'm saying when I speak clear detailed English. I order the Stop N Shop Lower Sodium Ham, one and 1/4 pounds (1.25 pounds). I order three (3) bags of this which means 1.25 pounds, three times.
They slice 1 pound or other times just 1/4 pound. Also, I tell them to slice it paper-thin. They do not do this. They slice the ham in the automatic slicer because they clearly do not want to take the time to do it properly by using the hand slicer.
The slices are very thick. I do not complain while in the store because my brother is with me and on high blood pressure meds. I don't want him to see me get stressed, so that is why I am sending my complaint through this format. I do not want to speak to the employees of the deli department.
The store manager is the only one I'm willing to talk to. All I want is my ham sliced the way I ask. Not too difficult, right? On occasion, I also shop at the location at 112-15 Beach Channel Drive, Rockaway Park NY 11694, (718) 945-****.
The employee in this deli doesn't know decimals. When I order my 1.25 pounds of Stop N Shop Lower Sodium Ham at this location, I get 1.025, not 1.25. Upon telling the employee this, I am told that it is one and 1/4 pounds. The label says 1.025, not 1.25.
Another employee had to show the one who made the error, and she still seemed confused. Other times, I've gotten 3 bags of .25 pounds and 3 bags of 1 pound. This is clearly a waste of time. This location also looks like it is going out of business as it is barely stocked on meats and most grocery items.
I only go here if the other location doesn't have my lower sodium ham.
Sorry for being long-winded. I just want to make sure all the details are out there.

On 6/10/24 I set up an account at Stop and Shop. Set up delivery for 6/12/24 between 9am-11am.
The order was delivered at around 10:30am. Perfect!
The driver(David) was very nice and polite.
Setting up an account placing an order and delivery was simple. All sell by/Best by dates were all great.
I may never go to the super market again.

Store on Greenwich Ave: unless a dog is a service animal, it is not allowed in the store. Emotional support animals are not permitted.
Your manager on duty stated that as long as the animal wasn't bothering anyone, he allowed it in. It certainly bothers me. I am tired of finding fur in the produce aisle.
I complained today at approximately 1:30 PM, but to no avail. I shall reconsider shopping at your store.

Rude store manager
I faced a pretty bad experience today while shopping in Stop and Shop #718 at 91 Point Judith Rd in Narragansett, RI 02882.
I tried to purchase a several varieties of Cabot Cheese on sale for $1.99 with digital coupon. Each variety had own price tag on the shelf saying that I have to purchase two packs of cheese with digital coupon to get $1.99 price per pack.
Also each variety of cheese had own digital coupon online.
I assumed that it applies to each variety of Cabot chees on shelf and I can purchase 2 packs of chees for each variety.
Unfortunately Store Customer Service representative told me that I can purchase only two packs all together and only one digital coupon can be used per customer.. He did not accept my explanation that each variety should be treated separately since it has a different barcode, and for example Pepper Jack variety of Cabot Cheese is absolutely different from "Seriously Sharp". When I asked to show me where I can see in written an interpretation that I can purchase only two items and use only one digital coupon, I was told that "this is how store operates"; he could not produce any written prove of his words.
I also tried to speak to a store manager Kevin Crook, but he was simply rude saying that he "does not have patience to explain it to me" he also requested me to leave the store which was absolutely rude.
I assume that store has a certain rules to operate, but it should be spelled out in written for customers.
Also the way store manager Kevin Crook has communicated with me was absolutely unacceptable. I just cannot believe that such a rude person can work as a store manager

Unbelievable
I bought 2 large enfamil neuropro gentlease formulas for my 10 month old I was running late from work so I had my boyfriend go get the formula he got the wrong formula it was literally an hour later the formulas were 52.99 each they were both sealed I didn't want a refund or cash back I just wanted an even swap. They told me absolutely no I was basically screwed out of a 105.89 dollars and had to buy 2 more formulas never heard of it .

Fire the store associate. The associate would not let me shop.
She was nasty, and she was driving over the gas pump where you plug your car in to charge it. She was driving drunk, which means she came to work drunk. This happened in Montville, at Stop & Shop in CT. The store was about to close for the night, and she was yelling at me.
That is not nice customer service. Appropriate punishment needs to be administered right away.

Union turnpike store workers name is Mariella she constantly is on top of u too see if u paid for ur items she harasses people by doing that she's such a brown nose I like to go shopping somewhere that I don't need a babysitter with me get her off my back and others that shop she's always on top of the people.
