I canceled an order and am fighting for my money

If I could give zero stars I would. I canceled an order which was over $160.

I have been on the phone for days trying to get my money back. Stop and Shop says its my bank. My bank says no it them. Stop and shop gives me an authorization code they claim to have sent my bank my bank says there is no such code.

If I dont get my money back I am going to have to seek legal action. In the meantime Stop and Shop has lost a long time customer. They suck and I am closing my account.

I will take my business to Shop Rite which is FAR BETTER!!! Stop and Shop customer service is the worst.

Stop and Shop delivery service is terrible.

Stop and Shop delivery service is terrible. I used to order weekly and every order was missing items.

Customer care would refund me for those but what's the point of ordering when I would have to go grocery shopping for the missing items.
Also, Delivery was ALWAYS late. 6 - 8 AM delivery window meant 10 AM. Food would sit in the hallway outside my door for hours. Don't tip in advance: Your supporting laziness.
Last delivery never arrived at all.

6 - 8 AM delivery. Called at 10 AM to ask when it would arrive.

Called back at 3:40 PM to ask again and was told that it was delivered. I gave up on Stop and Shop.

Disrespectful Service

S&S Stores as a Brand & Company has spiraled downward in past 5 years. Pine St, Bristol location is no exception - consistent cleanliness issues, out of stock items, poor produce quality, limited fresh seafood & deli products, and checkout is slow due to union required staffing & breaksno matter how long lines are.

Experience yesterday was nail in the coffin: Stood at Deli counter in front of (2) employees, not acknowledged, as lone customer as they chatted & worked. Asked if I had a deli ticket?, me no, Im the only one standing here., her You need a ticket, otherwise next customer jumps ahead of you,, me thats stupid her well thats the way things work., me In this time youve been unhelpful and rude, you couldve been halfway done with my order. I wanted to put her head through the meat slicer! (She ignored me, young kid proceeded to take my simple request of 1/2 lb of S&S Muenster Cheese, but.they didnt have any!!so had to pay much more for Boars Head brand - not better tasting, youre just paying for their marketing).

Yet another (and now my last) infuriating experience at this store. The entire company needs to shut down for 1 week to redefine operation initiatives, supply chain opportunities, associate customer service training, and in-store customer experiences, including Management being clearly visible on the floor throughout the store. (Take lessons from BigY).
